We’re bringing you another roundup of the upcoming Roller Derby this weekend from across the world. As always, we’re using Flat Track Stats for much of this information – for regions with less good coverage, we also do a bit of intensive searching using a tool which scans the Facebook events of Roller Derby leagues known to Derby Listing.

Predictions of bouts are from FTS, if possible, and from our own SRD Rank where FTS cannot make predictions (for example: Latin America, or non-MRDA men’s bouts).  (SRDRank also has recent WFTDA rankings, including the 31st June ranking, as well as SRDRank, and allows you to make predictions from them.)

Scotland

This weekend, the highlight of the Scottish events is Helgin's bootcamp event!:

  • Glasgow: 5th Blocker Skates host their 6th Birthday Party, after their successful 5th Birthday last year. The event features a range of bouts, of the various gender-specifications (Open-To-All, WFTDA, MRDA gender policies), plus a Juniors bout [EVENT]
  • Sunday, Dundee: Team Scotland Roller Derby host a Challenge Scrim as part of their regular training, allowing an open subscription team to play a game against them [EVENT]

UK

Whilst some people talk about an off-season, UK derby is still playing a lot of games, with a Sevens tournament, a quadruple header, and Rainy City v Paris twice!:

Europe

In Europe, the 2017/8 series continues to pick up, as the French, German and Austrian national tournaments all have bouts, along with two separate national teams tournaments, and a quintuple header in Lille!
