In Latin America, it seems a little quiet, but 2x4 host a tournament including Uruguay's Pajaros Pintados, and Coyolxauhqui Roller Derby have their debut bout!

For some years now, the Talk Derby To Me Podcast has been running their community-nominated and voted Listener Awards, recognising members of the Roller Derby community in various categories. The current 2017 Awards voting form is here.
Last year, TDTM added several categories, including one to recognise NSOs as they're a somewhat unsung part of the Roller Derby space, and yet essential to the sport. In response, we created a companion post allowing those nominated NSOs to say a bit about themselves - because the problem with being unsung is that people tend to be unaware of what it is you're doing, and how much you're doing!
This year, we're repeating the initiative, but opening it out to all Officials (nominees for the NSO and Referee awards) - collating responses from nominated Officials here.
At present, we have about 50% responses, and we'll be updating the below post if anyone else responds.

The Big O was a fantastic event. Locally, I really enjoyed EuroClash |
||
50 Words about your year:
I have travelled a lot over the past year to help promote the level of officiating in Europe. I still mentor a number of officials and love helping out wherever possible. Having reached 640 games this year my hope is that, in those games, I have managed to continue to help build the knowledge and confidence of both skaters and officials throughout Europe and abroad. |

Otherwise, I constantly enjoyed derby, I did my best to grasp the new rules. I've taken time to review some footages, ask questions, answered a few ones; and I also did mistakes. |
